Kate Francis usually keeps men like Zack at a distance. Though his athlete’s body is honed to perfection, he refuses to move on with his life—and besides, he’s her boss. Still, the sparks between them are undeniable, tempting Kate to turn their professional relationship into a personal one. But before she makes a power play for Zack’s wounded heart, Kate will have to open him up again and show him that love is worth the fight.
Now, in the aftermath of Gina's death Zack must pull himself together for the sake of his son, Ben. Enter Kate, the dowdy and annoyingly upbeat and helpful nanny that puts Zack on edge.
This book is a fantastic addition to an amazing series that features characters fighting horrible uphill battles and does it with grace. It will leave you rooting for more, begging Zack to stop being an ass and splitting a smile when Kate manages to make him grin despite himself. There is hope after darkness and this book is an excellent reminder of this.
I could not recommend this story more and hope that everyone grabs their own copy and gets to fall in love with Zack & Kate like I did.
