In this book we meet best friends, Stephanie Robson & Linden McGregor and their mutual friend (and Steph's ex) James.
Sitting at James' bar, Steph & Linden make a pact: if they're both single by 30, they'll get married. Steph, who is secretly crazy about Linden, thinks it's a joke but Linden, who is secretly crazy about Steph, does not.
The story progresses over the next couple of years told through dual point of views as we watch as they both tangle over their mutual attraction, but neither acting it on it as they are too scared to mess up their friendship. Even though it's clear they are perfect for each other, they continue to date other people who are merely stand-ins and often horrible ones at that.
That is, until Linden's horrible girlfriend dares them to convince during a couples camping trip. Yes, she's being a bitch but then again, that's her default setting when it comes to Steph.
Now, forced to admit their mutual attraction what will they do? What happens next?
I will not spoil this gem, but simply encourage you to open up this amazing read and get lost for a couple of hours. You won't regret it!
Simply because I love this book and everything about it, including the amazing way this author yields her pen (so to speak) I give this book the mythical 6th star.
