This book, the third in the Brew Ha Ha series, is just that. Life is going good for young adult author, Hailey Tate, a camera shy girl next door who loves her fans but hates to be the center of attention.
The same can not be said for Connor Ryan, baseball player extraordinaire and reigning athletic bad boy. He desperately needs an image makeover and his agent has just the girl to help. Enter Hailey.
After a bad poker deal goes wrong, Hailey is forced to pretend to be Connor's girlfriend because America views her as a stable, well-adjusted young woman.
Neither Connor or Hailey is happy about it, especially after Connor's less than stellar first impression.
What I liked most about this book was how amazing Connor & Hailey were together, the witty banter, the sweet and simple gestures, and their easy repertoire. Them together just makes sense and I was all too happy to watch them fall in love. For me, this romance gets 4 stars.
