Until he showed up.
Griffin McGregor. Bad boy star driver. On the track, he's gold. Off the track? He's everything my daddy ever warned me about. Infuriatingly egotistical, explosive temper, argumentative know-it-all...why does he have to be so freaking hot?
It'll be a miracle if we can get this team to the championship title without killing each other. Or worse. Because the last thing I'm going to do is wreck my career by jumping in bed with a race car driver.
Drift Heat takes the reader on a journey with Shelby as she meets Griffin, proves how badass she is and meets the rest of the Smoke & Mirrors Racing family but it's her sassy personality, easy likability and smart mouth that make her impossible to resist. That is for everyone but Griffin McGregor, one of the drivers for S&M Racing who is less than impressed with Shelby and instantly distrusts her.
I must admit for the first half of the book I was definitely not on Team Griffin, especially with how much of a jerk he was towards Shelby, but he does redeem himself. I promise! I actually liked that he wasn't besotted with her initially and there was no insta-love, it made their journey into love, trust, and acceptance more believable. By the end I was definitely rooting for #TeamGriffin.
Grab a copy today of this fantastic book and get ready to fall in completely in love with Shelby, Griffin and the rest of this amazing team. This was the first book I've read by Adrian Hale but it definitely won't be last!
