A one-night stand right before Jason Irwin left for his big break was no big deal. Except it wasn’t just any girl— it was Angie, Troy’s hot but young and inexperienced neighbor. It should never have happened, so best he pretend like it didn’t. Ten years later he remembered exactly why he went down that road. She was even hotter and she was also pissed as hell. Sounded like the perfect combination to invite on their world tour.
The road was not the place for history. It was bound to get ugly.
The best part of this book definitely had to be the relationships between these characters. Everyone's interactions were so dynamic, they practically sparked off the page leaving the reader with a fulfilled sense of authenticity about the situations they find themselves in.
In addition to this, the reader is treated to a heroine who is honest, witty, kick ass with an air of no-bullshit that is refreshing. I loved how she didn't take crap from anyone, especially Jason & Dan and made sure to give as good as she got.
Despite not seeing each other in a decade, the moment Jason & Angie lock eyes there's no denying their chemistry which leads to some pretty fantastic scenes that don't shirk on chemistry or heat.
If you're looking for the next great rock star romance, this is the book for you! It has it all: tortured bad boy rock star/kick ass heroine, comedy, drama and a romance that refuses to die.
