I read this book on February 17th and even though it's weeks later this book still hasn't left my mind. It was a good book, a true love story, and one I would definitely recommend. It wasn't one of those easy to read books where the couple just falls in love so easily and you want to roll your eyes.
I guess what I liked the most was that it wasn't predictable. It kept me guessing and I loved that there was real strife/angst/drama without it becoming something they couldn't overcome or wasn't believable when they did. I've read too many books lately where I was like 'What the hell is this girl thinking? This guy is butt nut crazy and he will never change! Walk away now!' and I loved that I never got that feeling from their pairing.
Another thing I really liked was that the male counterpart wasn't your stereotypical male protagonist but I've noticed that's not really Mia Sheridan's style. I liked that he seemed real, like somewhere out there Archer Hale could really exist. He was a good guy and he made me go, "Aww!" too many times not to fall in love with him as a character.
When I love a book, I recommend it to everyone I know. One of my co-workers came back today and told me she was reading it and almost called me to cuss me out because she was so into it and didn't see a particular plot twist coming. It made me laugh because I remember having that same reaction when I first read it. It's a good read and you should try it next!
